Account Director
The Sales Director will hold a highly visible and rewarding role within a rapidly growing media technology startup. The Sales Director will leverage their current network and build new relationships with clients and agencies promoting the company’s suite of rich media advertising products and services across a wide network of quality partner sites. This individual is will be based in New York or Los Angeles.
Job Responsibilities:
- A track record of success in New York with leading clients and agencies
- Potential player/coach responsibilities
- Meet quarterly quota targets based on bookings
- Articulate the value of the company's suite of products, matching the right product with the corresponding clients needs, positioning properly against the competition's offerings, while maintaining pricing integrity.
- Evangelize the company to the ad community throughout his/her territory
- Develop and maintain current market intelligence; trends, client's business needs, and industry reactions to the company's strategic initiatives
- Levergage strong relationships with decision makers and influencers to open new doors and drive new business
Job Qualifications:
- Experience in selling online media and deliver of rich media content
- Fluency in online media technology and media-buying terminology/planning
-Strong contacts within the industry
- Creative approach within the industry
- Creative approach to selling and problem solving
- A strong history of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- This person should also be proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Account Executive

Senior Business Intelligence Engineer
Pictela is looking to bring the next generation of advertising anayltics to life. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Hadoop, Java, distributed processing, and a passion to solve problems around big data.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including the technical analysis, design, implementation, and QA.
- Ability to deconstruct problems, devise analytic solutions and implement solutions to get results quickly
Required Experience:
- 5 - 10 years of development experience
- Broad and deep technical understanding of data processing architectures for Big Data.
- Knowledge of RDBMS, DW, BI and ETL technologies
- Experience with Hadoop and HDFS, and Hadoop sub projects such as Pig, Hive, HBase.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Machine learning & recommendation systems (big plus)
- Experience with Amazon AWS (big plus)
- Experience with standard statistical modeling packages such as R or Matlab
Background and Qualifications
- Familiarity with advertising systems is a big plus.

- Ability to quickly execute on creative ideas 2+ years experience writing Actionscript 2 & 3 for Flash applications, standalones, as well as integrated server-side web applications

Ad Operations Coordinator

Pictela seeks an Ad Operations Coordinator to drive campaign implementation and success across the company. As a Coordinator,you will work both internally and externally to ensure successful campaign execution and delivery. The Coordinator will also work with internal tools to assemble creative and traffic tags to a variety of ad servers.
Skills Desired:
- Minimum of one year of online trafficking is required
- Experience with at least 2 - 3 different ad server platforms
